Dana Duerst has been a mason since he was a kid starting at 12 years of age under the guidance of his father who was a prominent master mason, and who in his own career had built over 4,500 fireplaces in the Oregon region. A true legend. Dana learnt the trade and craft of masonry from his father who instilled in him the simple values of honesty, hard work and unflinching attention to detail. Dana is a master craftsman and holds true to the techniques of classic masonry. He does not adopt irregular processes or cut corners on low grade raw materials just to save a dime as some lower end operators tend to do. It’s all about building striking, quality driven installations in Brick, Block and Stone that last a lifetime and bring a happy smile to each and every client. Most importantly for Dana it’s about being on-time and on budget and working closely with each client to delivery what that want (and then some)!

Dana has been in the industry now for over 30+ years and has thousands of installations under his belt working for both his family and for himself. He established Dana Duerst Masonry a few years ago and has never looked back. He has a string of very happy clients who appreciate his down to earth manner and fair business practices. Dana is supported by a small team of workers who he personally has trained and who follow the lead of courtesy and professionalism.

Although home base is Eugene, Oregon, Dana has worked in various parts of the country as far field as Hawaii with clients also in California. He is available to work on projects anywhere the job may take him.

Dana is ICPI Certified and Oregon Contractor Board licensed, bonded and insured for 100% assurance.

Dana has two sons and enjoys surfing, motorcycle race tracking and spending time with his family. Yes, he works on weekends and all year round (even in the Oregon rains) and prides himself on being prompt and always doing what he says he will do.
